The Beatles

The 11 Beatles songs where Ringo Starr did the lead vocal.

Most music lovers consider The Beatles one if not the greatest band that came out of music land. This mop-top boys from Liverpool, England, consisted of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals). From their first single, Love Me Do to their break up album Let It Be, The Beatles captured the heart of the music world by storm.

During their entire career, The Beatles have compiled 12 albums namely: Please, Please Me, With the Beatles, A Hard Day’s Night, Beatles for Sale, Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles (White Album), Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and Let It Be. Each band member contributed his share of compositions; John Lennon had composed 72, Paul McCartney added 69 songs, George Harrison had written 22 songs, 48 Lennon/McCartney partnership and even Ringo Starr, Richard Starkey in real life contributed two songs Don’t Pass Me By and Octopus Garden. no wonder their songs captivated many hearts.

But did you know that aside from writing two songs Starr did the lead vocal on 11 songs.
