Me and my wife
An old couple sitting near a wishing well,
Both have trouble hearing well
The woman said, “throw a stone and make a wish,”
But the man replied, “I see no fish.”
In awe, the old lady said, “You really want a kiss?”
Then immediately gave his partner a big smack
Holding hands, the couple stroll along the park
While reminiscing some cherished bliss.
Suddenly the woman walks in a rush
With a soft voice she said, “Darling look at the flowers “
And the man jovially answers, “Yes sweetheart, we’re still lovers”
Kiss his wife and said, “that’s why I love you so much.”
This is so lovely Papaleng.

ReplyDeleteWow, this is really so sweet Sir Donald how I wish I can see my parents like this also but sadly my Dad died a very long time ago. This post reminds me of the song "Grow Old with you"from some movie =)

ReplyDeleteSo there is bliss between couples even when physical faculties start to fail. That is the wonder of true love.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I hope my hubby and I will grow old together and will be as sweet as this couple.. no baggages, no hurts, no pains, simple pure love.
ReplyDeleteAwww I love this! Old age may come with impairments but love is love - it is still going to show!
ReplyDeleteI thinks old couples are more nakakakilig in a way that you can feel what true love means more than the young adults in which they have so much time to change their minds pa. :D
ReplyDeletethis is really lovely ... they may have become somewhat "impaired" due to age but their responses to each other are still about love and how they cherish their younger days.... love love love
ReplyDeleteawww! lovers until the end...made my night :-) Thank you Sir for making me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteKahit malabo na ang mga mata
ReplyDeleteKahit mahina na ang pandinig nila
Maghahawak-kamay pa ring maglalakad
And dalawang pusong sadyang magkapalad.
aww. sweet naman! Love never really fades!
ReplyDeleteFunny but sweet... I admire old couples still hold hands while walking. I see them very often here in Germany. It's either they very old so they hold on to each other for them not to fall or just love each other.
ReplyDeleteAwww... this honestly made me cry. :( Wish I could have this kind of love when I grow old with the person that I love.
