From the ancient Greece you fought,
To the great abyss we thought,
How long should we live?
How far should we go?
Then it came to us,
Sense by sense
I started to feel you’re breaking out
Asking some foolish questions
That only a foolish person could answer,
Will it end like this?
Or Will it lead us to the promising place i know,
I'll stand and race my sword but
Then again, Sense by sense were coming up to the end and
Sense by sense your gaining what I lend.!
It is always sad when a relationship comes to an end. You have expressed this so well.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Christine.
ReplyDeleteSweet! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks eds, sayang na pag-ibig,..LOL
ReplyDeleteSense by sense. This is so profound.
ReplyDeleteI guess there are just some battles/ relationship that moves on forward and those that end and you end up starting anew.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice if you can make a rhythm out of this poem and make it lyrics to a song.
ReplyDeleteso true ending a relationship is sad but knowing deeply the reason behind the breakup sometimes answers the big question WHY
ReplyDeleteHmmm... a failing relationship. I guess when two people can never really work things out, despite doing all the work, then it should be time to let go and move forward.
ReplyDeleteSad that a good relationship has to end. Most people now ask themselves "Whatever happened to 'and they lived happily ever after"?
ReplyDeleteAhh teenage love! Some of the most unforgettable :)
ReplyDelete"We're coming to and end.." I don't like things coming to an end but if it's for the better, then I'd try to love endings..
ReplyDeleteTutal, there are plenty of fish in the ocean. Grab a boat and fish for one. XD
ReplyDeleteThough it hurts that something has to END, it can also mean there's a NEW beginning.
ReplyDeleteNice words you got there, Papaleng. This will make a very wonderful song is you want it to. I love it.
ReplyDeleteSome things are not meant to be, even love.
ReplyDeleteThat is simply how relationships go, some may end but hopefully one will be kept for a lifetime.
ReplyDeleteyour poetry never fails to leave me in awe, I am such a fan :)
ReplyDeleteNow if we could just whip out some guitar riffs for this piece. Very rich and compelling thoughts as usual. Great job!
ReplyDeleteechoing kulasa, i am a fan of your poetry too! keep 'em flowing!
ReplyDeleteIts sad to bid farewell to a relationship that is like a slowly dying love. Hope to hear this poem to a song, I would love to hear it.
ReplyDeleteI hate farewell but there's no gain without pains. I love how you put the words together in this poem. :)
ReplyDeleteEnding a relationship is never fun at all. They say you just have to let go and move on. But what the heck letting go is not easy, it eats you up from the inside. :|
ReplyDeleteSome good things never last, why can't they last? What a sweet poem that is Papaleng :-) May these two find each other's arms one day when the right time comes :-)
ReplyDeleteoh well, another great works of yours, talented talaga! :) always sad to end any kind of relationship but I believe that things happen for a reason and someone will come in God's perfect time! :)
ReplyDeletesense by sense.. this is really a great poem.. I love how deep it is yet so shallow that you can easily grasp the idea and relate to it... :)
ReplyDeleteWe can't promise forever but we are always hopeful for a lasting relationship. So, just move on and live life, a long the way you will meet someone better or yet best for you.
ReplyDeleteAnother fine master piece from an FBF poet.
ReplyDeleteYoung love, sweet love!!!!
ReplyDeleteSayang na pag-ibig nga paps.
ReplyDeleteMaking up and breaking up is a combi deal we all have to face when in a relationship. It's just sad that something so beautiful can end.
ReplyDeleteit's always sad to see relationship ends, but sense by sense it always give us wonderful memories and lessons
ReplyDeletevery well written poem with full of emotions! galing mo talaga Papaleng. :)
