“I Need You” – from the album Help! (1965)

This song is simple where Harrison first introduced a volume pedal to his guitar. Some thought that the lyrics was about George relationship with Pattie Boyd.

One of Harrison’s best-known Beatles contributions alongside Something, he and close friend Eric Clapton collaborated to write this song. HE did the lead vocals and played lead with an acoustic guitar.

“Something” - from the album Abbey Road (1969)

  8. My mother was a Beatles kid when she was growing up. Her favorite was Paul though, with that southpaw bass-playing of his. I feel sad that slowly but surely, the last of the Beatles will be gone as well - we only have their huge cultural music impact left, which we must then take care of.
