What’s in a Song?

Three songs that gave meaning to the word love.

Music plays an integral part in my marriage life. Together, I and my wife sing fast songs when we’re on a jovial mood. We sing “Amazing Grace”, “How Great Art Thou” and other inspirational songs to lift our spirits and give thanksgiving to the Lord. On a romantic mood, we listen and danced away the night to such classic tunes as “Changing Partner” or “Blue Danube”. That’s how influential music is to our life.

But there are songs which I deemed special, songs that in a way help us built a stronger relationship throughout the years and kept the fire in our hearts burning. This coming Valentine's Day, I’ve promise my good wife to serenade her with these three songs, which really shape our relationship to what it is right now.

These are the three very special songs:

1. “No Walls, No Ceiling, No Floors” — recorded by the American singer Orsa Lia in the late 70’s. just feel the lyrics of this song..

2. “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You” — one of Rod Stewart greatest hit.. The message is so touchy and a must for married couple to say each day.

3. “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman“– - a meaningful song from Brian Adams which vividly gives a good definition of loving a woman.
