A Perfect Poem

A humble birthday gift to treasure from a dear online friend.

photo: Maria Mely

One day I am wondering,
How could I’ll be a good friend,
One friend who will lend you a helping hand,
All the best that i can…

One day I am wondering,
If I could still continue my dream?
I am trying to make a simple poem,
Sending to you my friend…

One day I am wondering,
When suddenly I was thinking,
To write you a greeting,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU FRIEND…..

Old Couple’s Chat

The sweet but funny experiences of an old couple with hearing problems.

Me and my wife

An old couple sitting near a wishing well,
Both have trouble hearing well
The woman said, “throw a stone and make a wish,”
But the man replied, “I see no fish.”

In awe, the old lady said, “You really want a kiss?”
Then immediately gave his partner a big smack
Holding hands, the couple stroll along the park
While reminiscing some cherished bliss.

Suddenly the woman walks in a rush
With a soft voice she said, “Darling look at the flowers “
And the man jovially answers, “Yes sweetheart, we’re still lovers”
Kiss his wife and said, “that’s why I love you so much.”

A Child’s Laughter

The magic of a child's laughter

photo: Pakoy

A child laughter is a sweet music to the ear
Like angels singing, a joy to listen
From a baby’s giggle on a crib somewhere
To a toddler’s laughter out there playin’.

A child’s laughter can bring a smile
To someone mad about life
Laughter that covers pain for a while
And brings hope and will to survive.

A child’s laughter full of innocence and joy
Adults desire but deprive of such
Laughter that offers dreams to enjoy
And brings back memories we treasure much.

A child’s laughter can bring out the best
To someone, when he’s depressed
Because his spirit starts to soar
When he laughs once more.
